RuPaul’s Drag Race Drops First 5 Minutes of Season Premiere
It’s that time of the year once again! Mama Ru has picked some of the best upcoming drag stars to compete on yet another season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Season 15 is expected to be fierce, flawless, and filled with even more competition than before. Even though the show’s network and prize amount have changed (the prize used to be $150,000, now it is $200,000) the show appears to remain the same, format wise.
Within the first five minutes, Mama Ru introduces the show’s newest racers into the werkroom. In the meet the queen segment, fans are able to get a good feel of each queen. Right off the bat, drama has already begun between Luxx Noir London and Irene Dubois. Although the queens seemed to have gotten over the squabble quickly, Irene implied that Luxx’s wig was shorter than anticipated.
This preview definitely doesn’t hold back with the queens comments about one another, but it did only introduce part of the cast. Beside Luxx and Irene, Aura Mayari, and Marcia Marcia Marcia are introduced. Aura introduces themself as Nashville’s best, most stunning, and most electrifying drag performer. Meanwhile, Marcia Marcia Marcia explains the inspiration behind her drag. Although Marcia Marcia Marcia’s inspired style definitely turns heads, Aura thinks the drag is pretty basic.
Since Drag Race released this clip, fans have quickly shared their love for the new queens, as well as the show. As always, this season is set to be bigger and even better than before.
