Herstory is once again being made in the RuPaul’s Drag Race universe. For the first time ever, a season featuring only previous winners is coming to air. These queens have already won the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar and they’re totally ready to bring it home again.

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season seven is truly bigger and better than any seen to this point. Ahead of the premiere, RuPaul announced eight queens as part of the series. These queens are Jaida Essence Hall, Jinkx Monsoon, Monét X Change, Raja, Shea Couleé, The Vivienne, Trinity The Tuck, and Yvie Oddly.

Paramount +’s first look features the drag queens entering the iconic werkroom one by one. The end of the preview reveals an unannounced queen as part of the roster. The surprise queen is dressed head to toe in a white and black striped outfit. The stakes were already high with eight queens, but now they’re even higher.

Fans have begun guessing the identity of the surprise queen on Twitter ahead of the premiere. While many have made the joke that Jujubee is once again showing up on another series, others have dug in deeper to who this queen may be.

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars returns to Paramount + for its seventh season. The series follows the nine queens through their journey to ultimate drag superstardom. The queens will compete in a number of maxi, mini, and lip sync challenges to determine the next winner of the series. These queens have other competitions under their belt, so the competition is projected to be tighter than ever.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Winners Return to The Show For Star Studded Season

Some of the biggest names in the RuPaul’s Drag Race franchise will appear on this season of All Stars. Most notable of all is Raja from season three of the original series (2011). Fans are excited to see how she does since she has yet to take another stage since her 2011 win.

Raja is one of four competing queens that have never stepped foot on the RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars stage. Other queens include: season 12 winner Jaida Essence Hall, season five winner Jinkx Monsoon, and season 11 winner Yvie Oddly.

Many expect the former RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars winners Monét X Change, Shea Couleé, and Trinity The Tuck to have a leg up on the other queens given their status on the spin off. RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season seven streams exclusively on Paramount + beginning Friday, May 20. If the series follows suit to years prior, an episode will premiere on the service weekly.
