‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars’ Promo Offers Glimpse of Guest Judge Tina Knowles-Lawson

Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles-Lawson is making her RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars guest judging debut this season. When your daughter is the most awarded female artist in Grammy’s history, you definitely know how to spot talent. She joins a long list of huge celebrity names signed on to help crown a winner for the very first season streaming exclusively on Paramount+.
Tina Knowles-Lawson to Serve as Guest Judge on ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars’
Tina is a fashion designer who did costume work early on for Destiny’s Child. Beyoncé has mentioned in the past how Tina has served as an inspiration throughout her career. She is also an author, activist, and philanthropist. Destiny’s Child star Michelle Williams appeared in the first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race and the queens went wild.
The new promo shows short clips of each of the 13 queens competing on the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. Tina tells one queen that her outfit is “stunning.” We cannot wait to see who she was talking to. Guest judges Charli XCX and Emma Roberts also seem to be blown away by the things they see on the runway in the trailer.
Pandora Boxx has an outfit that squirts liquid onto the judges out of her breasts. This is a subtle nod to Katy Perry’s whipped cream “California Gurls” days. Another thing we will see this season is bubbles. It looks like Scarlet Envy will be using bubbles in her talent show routine which will most likely happen during the season premiere on June 24. We also get another look at Ginger Minj’s candy-themed song and dance routine.
Which Queen Steals the Show?
The real star of the trailer is Jiggly Caliente who describes herself as “the new b*tch.” Jiggly will perform a hard-hitting dance routine on the main stage. She closes out the trailer talking about her “glow up.” Jiggly’s unpolished outfits were constantly the subject of her judge’s critiques during the fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. She is back and better than ever this season fresh off of her re-occurring role on the FX hit Pose.
Other guest judges this season will include Aisha Tyler, Big Freedia, Jamal Sims, Justin Simien, Tia Mowry, and Zaldy. Franchise veterans Cheyenne Jackson and Fortune Feimster will also make appearances along with Miss Piggy, Angela Bassett, Alec Mapa, Jermaine Fowler, and Tanya Tucker.
