RuPaul Talks First Kiss, Calls Himself a ‘Good Kisser’

When asked about his best and worst kiss by Barrymore and her co-host Ross Mathews, RuPaul shared that he couldn’t think of a worst kiss. As he explained, “I’m a good kisser. And it’s like dancing. People follow your lead.”

However, he did bring up his husband Georges LeBar, saying he has “huge lips” and is a “fabulous” kisser. RuPaul also mentioned his AJ and the Queen co-star Josh Segarra, who would kiss him during rehearsals. RuPaul said he “was not prepared for that.” He said Segarra was a “very good kisser.”

When asked to share the story of his first kiss, RuPaul recalled that it happened when he was about 9 years old with a girl who lived across the street. He said the neighborhood kids stood around them as they kissed in the garage.

The Star Shares His Approach to Lying

During the interview, the topic of lying also came up, and RuPaul called himself “a diplomat.” He shared that he grew up with his mother and father as “warring factors,” and he was “the Henry Kissinger of the house.”

This taught him “how to diplomatically get my point across, but without making the war any worse.” His approach? He wouldn’t lie. Instead, he would focus on the positive by saying, “Well, at least you’ve got your legs.” So if you ever hear RuPaul say something like that on RuPaul’s Drag Race, you’ll know what it means.

Speaking of Drag Race, the new season is currently airing on MTV on Friday nights at 8/7c.
