PREDICTION: Zhavia & Zayn Will Beat Lady Gaga at the ‘Teen Choice Awards’…Here’s Why!

Earlier this week, Zhavia and Zayn were nominated for a Teen Choice Award! The two received a nomination for “Choice Song From A Movie” for their cover of “A Whole New World.” But just days after the announcement, Zhavia and Zayn may be the favorites to win.
Here is the category announcement, then we’ll break down why they could take home the Teen Choice Awards surfboard.
Choice Song From A Movie Nominees
This category is STACKED! Not only are Zhavia and Zayn nominated, but they’re up against powerhouses like Kelly Clarkson and Grammy and Oscar award-winning “Shallow” by Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. In the past, Kelly Clarkson has won 6 Teen Choice Awards and been nominated 21 times. Lady Gaga, on the other hand, has won 3 times from 27 nominations.
To say the least, anything could happen here. But fandoms like Gaga’s Monsters and Directioners definitely help bump the numbers! There is a case to be made for Zhavia and Zayn here though. After all, the numbers don’t lie!

Zhavia and Zayn For The Win
Zayn has a history of #winning too! He’s taken home two Teen Choice Awards and has been nominated for 10 total as a solo artist. As part of One Direction, the group won 28 of the 31 awards they were nominated for. This is the first nomination, however, for Zhavia. But having Zayn on the ticket with her won’t hurt!
Now looking at the voting on Twitter, Zhavia and Zayn seem like the favorites to win. The tweet about “A Whole New World” has 12,000 retweets. The closest to that currently is “Shallow” with 2,200 retweets. That is quite a lead! So we wouldn’t be surprised if they pull an upset and take home the surfboard.
