Peter Antoniou Returns to ‘AGT’ Las Vegas Live as Show’s Host

America’s Got Talent season 16 mentalist Peter Antoniou has officially returned to Las Vegas as the host of AGT Las Vegas live. Earlier this year, the mentalist joined the variety show alongside Preacher Lawson, Brandon Leake, Deadly Games, Kodi Lee, and others.
Peter Antoniou recently announced his return to AGT Las Vegas live, with a new title. Instead of acting as a mentalist in these shows, he will be acting as the host. For those hoping to see Peter as a mentalist, he’ll be returning to the cast in late July as a performer.
To celebrate his new hosting gig, Peter has created a micro-vlog series about his day to day. On day one, he published a video to Instagram that features multiple aspects of his day like flying into Las Vegas, finding his dressing room, picking a costume, and more.
“I’m looking forward to it [hosting the show]. It’s exciting to get to be back in the show but also in a new role,” he said. “So let’s see how this goes.”

Peter’s Journey on America’s Got Talent
Last season, this mentalist made waves in the America’s Got Talent competition when he was able to find Sofia Vergara’s engagement ring out of thousands of scattered boxes. As if that wasn’t enough, he was able to recall private details of Vergara’s intimate moment. Due to his impressive mentalist skills, Peter was picked to joined the Top 36 in the quarterfinals.
He once again impressed the audience in this round. Within this routine, Peter attempted to psychically link with each judge through cans of food. The mentalist then led Simon Cowell to pick a can for Vergara to eat. The can contained a piece of paper that included the correct prediction of what he served each judge. Peter faced elimination in the semifinals after his mentalist routine where he guessed photographs submitted by fans on social media. Immediately after the act, Cowell buzzed the mentalist. He did not receive enough votes to advance into the finals.
