Things got complicated when DWTS pros Slater and Farber announced their divorce while on the DWTS Live Tour. But despite the shocking news, their co-star and friend Murgatroyd has shared that they are handling the situation with professionalism and grace.
In an interview with The U.S. Sun, Murgatroyd shared that Slater and Farber are doing great and that the divorce was amicable. She also added that they are both some of her best friends and that she wishes them the best separately.
Murgatroyd further praised Slater and Farber for their ability to separate work and personal life, saying that they are amazing and that they have nothing but good things going on. The DWTS tour is in its final leg, and the last date is on March 12 in Las Vegas.
Despite the divorce, Slater and Farber have continued to perform together on the tour, and Murgatroyd believes that they are handling the situation perfectly. She added that it’s the best thing for both of them, and they are both very happy.
Peta Murgatroyd on Her Return to DWTS
Murgatroyd is a professional dancer and two-time winner of the Mirror Ball Trophy on DWTS. She was also a contestant on Season 31 of the show, but her return for future seasons has been up in the air due to her pregnancy with her second child.
“There were many benefits to me going back to work so quickly, so yeah, I’m totally all for it. I love it,” Murgatroyd said.
Murgatroyd, who is married to fellow DWTS pro Maks Chmerkovskiy, revealed that she would “love to be back” on the show, despite being pregnant. She previously returned to the show just seven weeks after giving birth to their first child, Shai, and plans to do the same this time around at around the eight or nine-week mark.
