Sasha Farber Seems to Respond to Emma Slater Filing for Divorce

Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Sasha Farber took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a message with fans that seems to be a response to news that his wife and fellow pro Emma Slater filed for divorce. The couple has been separated since last year.
Sasha Farber Seems to Comment on Divorce
Earlier this week, it was reported that Slater had officially filed for divorce from Farber after nearly five years of marriage. According to court documents, the split was amicable. The pair is still performing together on the DWTS live tour.
On Wednesday, Farber took to Instagram stories to write, “Things in life don’t always work out, but it’s important to be thankful for the good times and great memories, be strong and keep moving.” He added a broken heart emoji.
A fan posted Farber’s message to the DWTS Reddit, suggesting that his words were most likely a response to news of the divorce filing. Fans in the comments shared how sad they are for the couple and wished them the best in the future.

The Pair Is Still Dancing Together
Even after separating last year, Farber and Slater both signed on to compete on Dancing with the Stars Season 31. Farber danced with Selma Blair, while Slater was paired with Trevor Donovan. After Farber and Blair left the show, Slater posted a tribute to the pair on Instagram.
The two dancers are also performing together on the Dancing with the Stars live tour. Farber recently posted a video of him and Slater performing a samba together. Fans in the comments shared their hope that the two might get back together.
Farber and Slater got engaged on DWTS in 2016, and they tied the knot in 2018. Last year, rumors of a split began to swirl. The couple’s separation was confirmed in August, ahead of the show’s latest season.
