People Celebrating Rapist Harvey Weinstein’s Coronavirus Diagnosis — Right or Wrong?

It has been reported that convicted rapist and movie mogul, Harvey Weinstein has tested positive for Coronavirus. Following the news, ordinary Americans are furious that Weinstein got a test, whilst others across the country have no access.
Rapist Harvey Weinstein tests POSITIVE for Coronavirus
Movie mogul, Harvey Weinstein was recently sentenced to 23 years in prison for rape. Now, reports have surfaced that the movie mogul is one of two inmates to test positive in the maximum-security prison in New York. A New York State Department of Corrections spokesperson has confirmed that two inmates have tested positive, but could not name them. Harvey is allegedly unaware of his diagnosis.

Weinstein is now in isolation in Wende Correctional Facility in Western New York.
Twitter erupts after Harvey Weinstein news in celebration
Twitter has already erupted in celebration over the news. Many using the opportunity to make jokes regarding Weinstein’s week of unfortunate events.

One user wrote, “Harvey Weinstein has tested positive fro Covid-19. Oh, Karma. You sweet, little nasty b****. I love you.” Others used the opportunity to express concerns over how Harvey was granted access to a test, whilst ordinary Americans cannot.
“Harvey Weinstein went to jail a couple of weeks ago for sexual assault & now has tested positive for the Coronavirus. But right now, Aunt Betty, who has never even had a speeding ticket, can’t get a test. How does an incarcerated predator take precedence over law-abiding citizens?” another user wrote.
Frederick Joseph is amongst the thousands questioning the morality behind Harvey’s ability to gain access to a test before ‘decent humans’.
We expect the online debate to continue until further details are announced as to how Weinstein managed to get tested.
