Olly Murs just got criticized by fans after making his fiancé, Amelia Tank wear a horrifying swimsuit he bought for her. This swimwear is definitely what nightmares are made of, it features a zoomed in photo of him with a strange expression.
Murs Gets Criticized for Disturbing Swimsuit He Gave to his Fiancé
While enjoying their timely getaway in Barbados, Murs and snapped a shot of his bride-to-be and made a joke post. What he got instead was criticism for making Tank wear the questionable outfit. She was seen while standing at the balcony of their luxurious Barbados suite.
Murs’ fiancé wore a pair of fish slippers which almost went unnoticed, due to the one-piece swimsuit and blue tote bag. Covering her toned figure is a swimsuit with Murs’ face printed on the front. It also didn’t help that the singer was doing a strange expression on the print.
“With that body she can rock anything even your disturbing choices,” A fan wrote.
Though it seemed like the couple made it as a joke, Murs quickly went under fire, since fans were unhappy with the swimsuit. Though there were some who went along with the practical joke, most fans were left with unamused reactions.
“I was so focused on the swimsuit I missed the fish flops lol,” another fan wrote.
They Got Engaged in June Last Year
The post’s caption shows this will be their last getaway together as “Mr. and Miss,” hinting at their upcoming wedding. The pair began dating in 2019, although he confessed that he was “extremely non-committal” during their first few encounters. Even deciding to separate momentarily before realizing he was “an idiot,” for doing so and rekindling their romance.
During a family holiday to Cornwall in June 2022, he got down on one knee and proposed. He posted the intimate event on social media. A sizable emerald-cut diamond on a pave band that Murs bought is estimated by experts to be worth over £80,000.
Though the singer did come under fire recently, there were still some light-hearted fans who wished the pair good luck with their wedding plans. No official date for the marriage has been announced by the couple as of yet. However they are currently planning on tying the knot this year.
