Rodrigo’s visual adventure begins on a sunny evening on the coast, as she drives along Malibu’s wide seaside streets. Wearing a pink headscarf and stylish all-black sunglasses. The video, full of meaning, reminds us of a Hitchcock-style love story of envy and wonder as Rodrigo relives memories of her past.

We can’t help but see this as somewhat of a sequel to Rodrigo’s viral track, ‘Driver’s License’, with the 18-year-old herself admitting she wrote the song only a month after dating Zane Lowe.

Already, fans have taken to Twitter to open up about the singer’s new video.

“Wish I could drive so I could recreate the Déjà Vu music video,” wrote one user in reaction.

“Olivia Rodrigo got a driver’s licence and now she can’t stop driving cars in her music videos,” another user joked.

Rodrigo’s discography of songs is about to become much bigger. The singer’s new album, ‘SOUR’, is out May 21, featuring both ‘Driver’s License’ and ‘Deja Vu.’
