Olivia Rodrigo Announces New Single ‘Vampire’ Releasing Soon

Olivia Rodrigo announced on Tuesday that she’s releasing a new single called “Vampire” later this month. This song will mark Rodrigo’s first new music release since her Grammy-winning debut album Sour came out in 2021.

On Tuesday, Rodrigo posted the single’s cover art to Instagram. The image features a black and white photo of Rodrigo’s profile. She has two purple Band-Aids on her neck, which is the only part of the image that’s in color.
Rodrigo shared that the new single, titled “Vampire,” will be released on June 30. Fans can presave the single now. They can also pre-order a limited edition CD and a 7″ vinyl. In a note to fans, Rodrigo wrote that she’s “so excited for this new chapter.”
The singer had some fun promoting the upcoming release on her Instagram, posting a meme from the movie Twilight in which Edward tells Bella to say out loud what he is, and she responds, “Olivia Rodrigo’s new single.”

Rodrigo Won Two Grammys Last Year
During last year’s Grammys, Rodrigo was nominated for seven awards, including Album of the Year for Sour. Although she lost out in that category, Rodrigo did end up taking home the awards for Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Pop Solo Performance for her song “Drivers License.”
Rodrigo starred in the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. The singer signed with Interscope Records and Geffen Records in 2020, and she put out her debut single “Drivers License” in 2021. The song debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Rodrigo left High School Musical: The Musical: The Series at the end of the third season to focus more on her music career. Last year, Disney+ released a documentary called Olivia Rodrigo: Driving Home 2 U.
