Nick Cannon is sharing his vulnerable side in the video for his new song “No Weapon.” The inspirational song is a cover from the popular 1996 song of the same name. Cannon’s cover sees him showcasing his singing talent as well as his piano skills.

“No Weapon” also features gospel legend, Kierra Sheard. The two singers were accompanied by a choir as they belted out the well-known song. The black and white video shows Cannon harmonizing, a talent that many did not know The Masked Singer host had.

Known for his hit songs such as “Gigolo” and “Get Crunk Shorty,” this side of Cannon is a stark contrast from what people have come to expect and love. The payoff for listeners will be a feeling of hope from the entertainer who has been through a lot over these last couple of years, including the death of his infant son.

The video was a part of Cannon’s Ncredible Session video series. Fans of Cannon will know that Ncredible is his multi-media company that was established in 2009.
