Nick Cannon Calls Ex-Wife Mariah Carey a ‘Gift from God’

The Masked Singer host Nick Cannon had some nice things to say about his ex-wife Mariah Carey in a new interview. The star even shared that he used to have photos of Carey on his wall when he was a kid. Cannon called Carey a “gift from God.”
Nick Cannon Talks About Ex-Wife Mariah Carey
In a new interview with The Shade Room, Cannon was asked who he considers to be the love of his life. Cannon went on to speak highly of Carey, whom he married in 2008. The pair had twins Monroe and Moroccan together before finalizing their divorce in 2016.
“I was 12 years old with Mariah Carey pictures on my wall, and that becomes my wife. And the fact that she’s the coolest person I ever met,” Cannon said. “I get a lot of this delightful disposition from her. She’s just always happy, always doing for others. No matter what’s happening in life.”
Cannon went on to say of Carey, “That woman is not human. She’s a gift from God.”
Since Cannon and Carey split, he has gone on to welcome 10 more children with five other women. Carey has been dating dancer Bryan Tanaka since 2016. However, Cannon continues to speak fondly of his relationship with the singer.

Cannon Called His Marriage to Carey a ‘Fairy Tale’
Last year, Cannon had similarly positive things to say about Carey on the Hot Tee Talk Show Podcast, calling her “somebody I will always love” and comparing their relationship to a fairy tale.
“I will never have a love like I had with Mariah,” Cannon shared. “It was literally like a fairy tale with Mariah, so I’d rather it just be that way, and I appreciate that fantasy. Because if I tried to go back and it wasn’t the same, like damn, I messed it up.”
Still, Cannon added that he would take the chance to be with Carey again if it “could be the way that it was.”
She does not want you now with all them kids.
