The Voice returned to NBC on Tuesday, November 10. The one hour show gave fans a look at the next set of Knockout Round performances. Performances within the episode included Team Reba, Bublé, and Niall.
Carson Callback Winner Continues in Competition
The first Knockout of the night began with Team Reba members Conrad Khalil and Carson Callback receiver Ryan Mitchell. They sang “Closer” by Ne-Yo and “Zombie” by The Cranberries, respectively. Shockingly, although Conrad gave an almost perfect performance of the Ne-Yo hit, McEntire named Ryan as the winner of the Knockout Round.
This was definitely an interesting moment, since many fans had complained earlier in the season, saying that Ryan shouldn’t have gotten the Carson Callback. Now, it couldn’t be anymore clear that the honor was earned.
Up next was Team Bublé members Rob Cole and Marty O’Reilly. They performed “Wondering Why” by The Red Clay Strays, and “The Letter” by The Box Tops. Even though both songs were performed well, Bublé ultimately chose Rob as the winner of the round.
Also appearing in this episode was Team Bublé members Jack Austin and Trinity. Only Trinity was shown, performing “I’m Your Baby Tonight” by Whitney Houston. Fans were able to see Bublé announce Trinty as the winner of the match.
Niall Horan Hits Last Minute Mic Drop Button for Country Trio
The final Knockout of the night was Dek of Hearts and Kayleigh Clark. They sang “What If I Never Get Over You” by Lady A and “Blue” by LeAnn Rimes, respectively. This knockout contained two four-chair turns, so Horan himself even admitted the winner of the round was “one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make.”
Last minute, right as Dek of Hearts was leaving the stage, Horan hit his mic drop button for the trio. In case you missed it previously, The “mic drop” button will send a singer to perform at the Rose parade.
This officially makes Dek of Hearts the second singer to earn the Mic Drop button on The Voice 2025. The first, which happened last week, was given to 14 year old singer Max Chambers. Bublé was the coach that hit the button.
Be sure to tune into the next round of the Knockouts on Monday, November 17. The weekly episode will air from 9-10pm ET on NBC. This round of the competition ends on Monday, November 24.
