New Kids on the Block Announces 2022 Tour with Fellow ’80s Icons

New Kids on the Block made a big announcement this week. The boy band is going on tour next year, along with some iconic musical acts from the ’80s and ’90s. If you’re a fan of the group, prepare to buy your tickets soon.
The group is no stranger to talent shows, as Donnie Wahlberg recently appeared on The Masked Singer as The Cluedle-Doo — fooling even his wife Jenny McCarthy. Bandmate Joey McIntyre also came in third place in the first season of Dancing with the Stars.
New Kids on the Block Announce Mixtape Tour 2022
On Monday morning, New Kids on the Block announced that they’ll be heading out on a new Mixtape Tour in 2022. According to Ticketmaster, the first show will be May 10 in Cincinnati, with concerts around the country through July.
Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday at 11 a.m., but members of Block Nation have access starting Thursday at 11 a.m. You can sign up for Block Nation on the band’s website.
As part of their tour announcement, the group also shared that they’ll be joined in concert by three special guests, all of whom were music icons in the 1980s and 1990s. You can expect appearances from Salt-N-Pepa (“Push It”), Rick Astley (“Never Gonna Give You Up”), and En Vogue (“My Lovin’ (You’re Never Gonna Get It)”).

New Kids on the Block embarked on their first Mixtape Tour in 2019 and they plan to make it even bigger in 2022.
