Miley Cyrus Releases Live Album, ‘Attention’
Cyrus recently teased the release on Instagram, writing, “My fans have been asking me for a live album for a long time & I am so exxxited to give it to them! This show was curated BY the fans FOR the fans!”
The singer asked fans what songs they wanted to hear at upcoming shows, and they came up with a set list. Cyrus shared, “I was doing a minimal amount of live shows this year and wanted the MAXIMUM amount of fans to experience ME LIVE!”
The album features 20 tracks, including older hits such as “Party in the USA” and “The Climb,” as well as covers of songs like “Jolene” by Dolly Parton and “Heart of Glass” by Blondie. She even mashed up her own tracks with songs by other artists, such as “Wrecking Ball X Nothing Compares 2 U” and “We Can’t Stop X Where Is My Mind?”

The Album Features Two New Songs
The singer’s new live album also features two previously unreleased tracks, “Attention” and “You.” The album opens with “Attention,” which also has an accompanying music video. The track is only about a minute and a half long, with Cyrus screaming, “I need attention!”
You might have heard “You” before if you watched Cyrus’ New Year’s Eve special. The song is a powerhouse piano ballad that really shows off Cyrus’ singing chops. It would be great to hear a studio version of the track, but it’s great to finally have this version to stream.
“Thank you for all of your loyalty and support over the last 16 years!” Cyrus told fans on Instagram. “This record is the least I can do to try and show my appreciation for your dedication! We’re in this together forever!”
