Michael Strahan to Guest Judge on Dancing with the Stars
Michael Strahan is a host on the ABC morning show Good Morning America. He previously co-hosted Live with Kelly Ripa, and is famous for his career in the NFL. Strahan was a defensive end for the New York Giants for 15 years.
Next Tuesday, he’ll be sitting on the DWTS panel with regular judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli for Motown Night. GMA shared the news of Strahan’s guest judge gig on Wednesday, playing a clip of DWTS host Alfonso Ribeiro giving him some advice.
“You gotta bring the heat, baby. You gotta bring it, you gotta rock it,” Ribeiro said. “Tell the truth. Have fun. Just be on there, tell everybody what you’re thinking. I’m sure everyone’s gonna love everything that you have to say. The advice is, commit to whatever you say, even if they boo.”
Strahan admitted that he was “worried about what I’m gonna wear after watching the outfits last night.”

Two Couples Have Already Been Eliminated
We’re two weeks into Season 32, and two couples have been eliminated from the competition. The first couple to go, during the premiere episode, was comedian Matt Walsh and his partner Koko Iwasaki. Then this week, Jamie Lynn Spears and her partner Alan Bersten were eliminated.
Judge Derek Hough described Spears’ elimination as a “shocker,” since there were several other stars who had lower scores than her during Tuesday’s Latin Night. Spears’ Cha Cha earned a combined score of 16 from the judges.
Adrian Peterson, who was also in the Bottom 2 during Tuesday’s results, received a score of 15 for his Samba. Barry Williams and Harry Jowsey also received 15s. The lowest score of the night (12) went to Mauricio Umansky, who was safe from elimination.
