Dancing With The Stars season 32 has just premiered, and there’s no denying that this season is already a ton of fun. Professional dancers and their celebrity partners have not only given fans promising first performances, but have also shown how dynamic and unpredictable the cast is.
The dancing reality series has compiled some of its premiere highlights. Let’s take a look at them.
DWTS Premiere Top 3 “OMG” Moments
1. Jenna Johnson Jumps on Host Alfonso Ribeiro
After Jenna Johnson and Tyson Beckford performed to a Cha Cha routine, the DWTS pro surprised viewers when she suddenly jumped on host Alfonso Ribeiro. Such unexpected move remains to be confusing for fans. Unfortunately, some fans think that Johnson simply wanted to grab attention.
Be that as it may, Johnson and Beckford still have a lot to prove this season, being the final pairing to be safe during the episode. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba even gave Beckford a tip.
“Dancing is everything between the posing,” she said. “I see a lot of potential.”
2. Harry Jowsey Rips Off His Shirt
In spite of their height difference, Too Hot To Handle star Harry Jowsey and first-time DWTS pro Rylee Arnold managed to perform well in the ballroom together. The 6-foot-5 reality tv star danced a Cha Cha routine and scored a 12 out of 30 for his debut performance. However, apart from his moves, he shocked everyone when he ripped his shirt open mid-dance.
“Harry, my man you think like me. When in doubt, get your chest out!” judge Bruno Tonioli joked.
Jason Mraz Jokes About His “Extra Vertebrae”
During his debut performance, the “I’m Yours” singer talked about his unusual medical condition. His funny interview with DWTS host Julianne Hough showed him joking that his “snake hips” were because of his “extra vertebrae” in his spine. This means that he recognizes that he can dance like a reptile.
For their first performance, he and his professional partner Daniella Karagach danced a Cha Cha routine to his hit song “I Feel Like Dancing.” Indeed, his extra vertebrae could really serve as an advantage this season.
“So far, that’s the best dance of the night!” judge Carrie Ann Inaba stated.
