Armenian acrobatic duo The Vardanyan Brothers are set to bring their jaw-dropping and death-defying sword balancing act to the AGT stage as one of the 40 acts selected for the inaugural AGT: Fantasy League season. Known for risky balancing stunts and aerobatic feats, they first gained attention competing on Britain’s Got Talent in 2019.
Who Are The Fearless Vardanyan Brothers?
The Vardanyan Brothers consist of siblings Gevorg and Andranik Vardanyan, hailing from Armenia, currently based in Moscow, Russia. They first stepped into the spotlight by winning Season 9 of Russia’s Got Talent in 2017 with their spectacular acrobatic routines.
The pair then brought their act overseas for BGT in 2019, earning high praise from Simon Cowell himself with their terrifying sword balancing trick. Cowell deemed them “the most dangerous act I’ve seen on any Got Talent franchise” as the brothers balanced precariously on the tips of swords in their mouths.
The Vardanyans continued to compete on talent shows like Spain’s Got Talent: All Stars, where they earned the Golden Buzzer before placing second overall. Their breathtaking skills and courting of danger each time they take the stage have earned them fans worldwide.
