Who is the Axolotl? ‘The Masked Singer’ Prediction & Clues!

One costume hasn’t even taken The Masked Singer stage yet and it’s already being called the “gosh darn cutest!” The Axolotl will make their debut on Country Night, which is sure to be a good ol’ time.
But who is the celebrity under the Axolotl mask? And what do we know about them from the clues? Here’s everything so far!
Clues on The Masked Singer Season 9
In her first appearance, we got a lot of clues about the Axolotl! She started by saying she’s “so excited to be part of your world.” Axolotls are “very cute and rowdy,” just like the celebrity under the mask. Men in black hand her gold pom-poms as she speaks. But it took her a long time to be as confident as she is now! The shot cuts past a red bull to two men in black in safari gear trying to swing at her with nets. She explained that “as a kid, [she] was bullied so bad, [she] had to transfer schools.” They made her feel so small, she stopped eating. We see a raw steak in the shot.
Until one day, she heard a song that helped her recover! She fell in love with the voice and eventually the man, she claims while holding up a diamond ring with a music note on it. He helped her realize the only way to make her life a “perfect 10” was to build herself up instead of tearing her down. While Axolotl says she’s not “the best singer,” she will embrace her “inner diva and have the most fun!” She then rings a bell like the start of a fight and two of the men in black fall back.

After her performance, we got one last clue, which was delivered by Robert Woods! The clue was a helmet with “2.3 million” written on it. Axolotl explained, “that’s how many people watch me when I work…and that’s just on a Monday!”

Robin guessed that Axolotl was one of the Bella twins, either Nikki or Bri, which Ken agreed with. Jenny said it’s neither one of them though, instead predicting Alexa Bliss, who is married to Ryan Cabrera. Nicole went another direction though, throwing out Simone Biles or McKayla Maroney as options.
