Luke Bryan has headlined a number of arenas for years, but he can definitely admit that his Las Vegas residency is one of his favorites. The American Idol judge has recently talked about the special bond he’s been having with the Sin City crowd.

Luke Bryan is Loving Every Bit of His Las Vegas Residency

Luke Bryan began hosting his Las Vegas residency at the Resorts World Theater in 2022. Although this residency, LUKE BRYAN: VEGAS is coming to a close next year, the country singer is reflecting on his spectacular headlining journey.

“Vegas has been amazing for me, I love that I’ve done it,” Bryan said at a Nashville press conference.

According to the “One Margarita” singer, his Las Vegas experience has helped him grow as a musician. Bryan admits he’s not a “virtuoso” when it comes to piano or guitar, but the intimate theater experience has helped him with this. Now, he finds himself entertaining the crowd in other ways.

“The attentiveness of your crowd in Vegas is really fun to be a part of because when you tell a joke, when you tell a story about a song, if you’re in a 25,000 people amphitheater, you can’t do that, you’ve got to do the music, have fun,” he said.

Aside from his headline show in Sin City, the “Knockin’ Boots” singer is performing on his Country On Tour. Bryan is also hitting the road for his Farm Tour where he sings at various farms all over the US.

He Gears Up for Hosting Duties with Peyton Manning at the 2023 CMA Awards

The 57th annual CMA Awards has recently released its promotional video featuring Bryan and former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning as returning hosts. The two will be resuming their hosting duties for the second time at this year’s award show on November 8.

In the teaser clip, the two showed how they would rather return to the CMA stage in Nashville than ride off into the sunset on horses alongside one another. At one point, Manning gets a phone call requesting them to host the show.

“Wait a minute. You want us to host the CMA Awards again?” he said. “I got to be honest, we’re in the middle of riding off into the sunset.”

“They want us to host again?” Bryan responded. “If I turn my back on the CMA Awards, what kind of hosting icon would I be?”

“Hosting icons, plural. They called my phone,” Manning corrected.

Then, the two agreed to be hosts again, a decision they’re obviously willing to do. The clip then concluded with one final laugh and witty exchange between them.

Bryan and Manning is one of the pairs that joined a history of returning hosting duos. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood hosted the CMAs for 11 years straight from 2008 to 2018. Meanwhile, Mac Davis and Barbara Mandrell hosted for three times in the ‘80s from 1980 to ‘82. From 2004 to 2006, Brooks & Dunn were also co-hosts of the awards show.
