Luke Bryan canceled yet another concert on Sunday night, having missed three other shows the previous weekend due to illness. The American Idol judge wrote on social media that it was “a struggle” to sing during his two most recent concerts.
Luke Bryan Cancels Another Concert for Health Reasons
Earlier this month, Bryan canceled three scheduled concerts, explaining to fans that he had been dealing with a head cold “for the past couple of weeks.” He had been advised by doctors to rest his voice. After taking six days off, he returned to the stage on Thursday and Saturday.
However, Bryan wrote in a new post that it was “a struggle” to sing during these shows, adding, “Every show I sing I’m setting my voice back.” He therefore decided to cancel his Sunday night concert in Brandon, Missouri.
“I will continue to do everything I can to get better,” Bryan wrote to close his post. “Please know how much you mean to me and how heartbreaking this is to do.”

Bryan Thanks Fans for Showing Up
On Monday, Bryan took to social media once again to share several photos from his recent concerts, writing, “Last couple shows have not been easy to get through but I gave it my all. Thankfully my friends and family were there to support. Thank you fans for showing up in a big way.”
Bryan recently released a new song called “Southern and Slow,” saying in a statement about the track, “Let’s slow it down southern style because this life seems to be moving faster than ever.” The singer also shared his excitement to perform the song live.
The country star is currently performing his Country On Tour, with stops around the United States. He has shows lined up into October, with the next concert set for August 17 in Cincinnati. It’s not clear if Bryan will be ready to return to the stage by then.
