‘Lego Masters’ Releases Windy Hint For Upcoming Episode After Two-Week Break
Reading Time: 3 minutes
Calling all Lego Masters fans! The show announced it will be airing its newest episode next Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on FOX. After two weeks without a new episode, the show hinted at the upcoming theme on social media, but some fans have already lost interest.
In this season, Lego fans have seen crazy hats on the runway, replicas of Lamborghinis, and structures strong enough to withstand an earthquake. Lego Masters is trying their best to keep viewer excitement up during week long breaks without new episodes, but is falling short with inconsistent scheduling.
On August 3, Lego Masters posted a hint on Instagram about their upcoming new episode. The photo features host, Will Arnett, standing next to an image of a fan. Some people may think this means the show is starting an Only Fans to gain back their lost revenue, but it instead seems like this upcoming episode involves actual fans.
“Easy, breezy, beautiful #LEGOMastersFOX. Here’s a hint about next week’s episode!” Lego Masters shared in their post announcing their return to FOX.
After seeing the crazy challenges Lego teams have had to face this season, I’d guess their next build will be wind turbines or fans. I fully expect some kind of twist in this competition though. Every build this season has had some aspect to it that has forced teams to carefully plan builds to withstand some sort of obstacle.
Fans Think the Show is Falling Off the Deep End
Fans are extremely unhappy with the inconsistent scheduling Lego Masters has received from FOX. Whenever the show posts anything to social media, fans immediately comment about how their interest is spreading thin.
“Please tell me you forgot to schedule this tweet for last week, and that “next week” really means “this week.” Are you trying to bury this show or something??!” said one fan on Twitter.
Lego Masters season two aired on June 1 and fans are very upset that the competition is progressing at such a slow pace. If the show had not taken weeks off, they would’ve concluded the season by now. Some fans are even speculating that at this rate the finale is very very far away.
“Can’t wait for the finale in December” said another fan on Twitter.
I don’t think the finale will take quite that long to arrive, but if the show keeps up its current pace the finale will end in mid-September. FOX should know that dragging out a show is not the correct way to lengthen a season. Hopefully soon the network will realize they’re losing fans from this tactic.
Lego Masters is returning to FOX on Tuesday, August 10 at 8 p.m. The show is also scheduled to air episode 8 on August 17 at 8 p.m. on FOX. Lego Masters fans are hoping that a regular schedule will return for the remainder of the show.
