Jej himself is a Filipino immigrant who made a splash on The Voice in Season 16, earning a four-chair turn in his blind audition. Jej loves a cappella, which he performs with USC group the SoCal VoCals. Jej Vinson Performs With The Filharmonic As you might have guessed from their name, The Filharmonic is an a cappella group made up of Filipino-American singers. They regularly post covers of popular songs on their YouTube and Instagram pages. Jej took the lead, showing off his impressive voice while The Filharmonic backed him up. Jej shared the video on his Instagram page, thanking the group for having him and writing, "Always a blast w\/ the homies. Since leaving The Voice, Jej has released several singles. He's also featured on an album from California high school student Kevin Lu called Lovers Lane. Last year, he had the opportunity to perform with Filipino singer Morissette, something he's always wanted.
