Former part-time The Voice coach Kelsea Ballerini has finally reached the settlement of her divorce from Morgan Evans after nearly five years of marriage. According to reports, the two have agreed to divide their then-shared properties.
Kelsea Ballerini, Morgan Evans Reach Divorce Settlement
Ballerini initially filed for divorce on August this year, citing irreconcilable differences as reason for split. While doing so was a “deeply difficult decision,” the country music star found it ultimately necessary. Nevertheless, she shared then on her Instagram story that she is extremely grateful for the years that she and Evans were together.
Two months after the divorce papers were filed, Ballerini and Evans have formally called it quits. All issues pertaining to their separation were addressed on October 24, in County of Davidson, Tennessee.
At present, the two have already vacated their residence in Nashville. Additionally, this same house has been listed for sale with the help of a mutually agreed upon real estate agent. Their household furniture along with other personal properties are also ordered to be divided. This has occurred, since the exes have a pre-signed a prenuptial agreement.
According to an unidentified source, the two tried to work their marriage out for a long time. Before the divorce, they have decided to separate privately and attend therapies alone and together. Unfortunately, these efforts didn’t do much as they eventually came up with divorce to resolve their issues.
She Will Perform with Kelly Clarkson, Carly Pearce at the CMA Awards
Last September, Ballerini released her fourth studio album, Subject to Change. The 15-track creation contains her collaboration with Kelly Clarkson and Carly Pearce, “You’re Drunk, Go Home.” This particular track is all about women empowerment, blasting men who hit on women at bars.
Ballerini first teased this collaboration on TikTok, not revealing that she was working with Clarkson on it. According to her, “You’re Drunk, Go Home” checks another box off on the list of the things she’s done with Clarkson. For those who may not know, Ballerini served as opening act on the pop star’s tour and sat on her seat for The Voice.
A source from the production team of the upcoming Country Music Association Awards told TMZ that the trio will perform this powerful track live in the event. Interestingly, all these women have gone through divorce situations, so we must expect an electric performance.
