Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes are proving that time flies fast as they celebrate one year of their romance. The country songstress and Outer Banks actor began dating in December 2022 and went public with their relationship during the 2023 CMT Awards red carpet.

On Instagram, the couple took the time to pay sweet tributes to each other. The “Penthouse” singer shared the milestone with her supporters by posting a series of photos and clips of them together.
“A whole trip around the sun with my bestie. @hichasestokes thanks for making me write love songs,” she wrote.
The post highlighted the actor’s support of her music, with one video showing how he enjoyed her performance onstage. Other showed their candid dates and moments together, including one where they’re watching a pristine view of nature.
On her Instagram Story, the “Half Of My Hometown” singer uploaded a throwback video of the night they met. The video showed the two sitting in a car dancing and singing along to her hit “Heartfirst.”
For his part, Stokes celebrated the day with a separate post. He also uploaded a carousel of photos of them on Instagram.
“One year of lovin you,” he wrote. “P.s. told ya I wouldn’t embarrass you.”
Ballerini and Stokes first sparked romance rumors earlier in 2023 after he shared a photo of them together at the Georgia vs. TCU game at SoFi Stadium in California. A month later, Ballerini revealed on the Call Her Daddy podcast that she was the one who made the first move after they followed each other on Instagram.
“I’ve never seen his show, but I just knew of him, and I just swan dove right on in,” she said.
