Kelly Osbourne Talks Weight Loss Journey After Having Her Baby Boy
During the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay’s podcast Scheananigans, Osbourne shared how the process of slimming down has put so much pressure on her. The actress explained that her grit to lose weight after pregnancy has gone overboard.
“I was on a mission after having the baby to lose all my baby weight and I was like, ‘I lost all the baby weight, let’s see how far I can go,” she said. “I went a little bit too far, [so] we stopped.”
Back in 2018, Osbourne underwent gastric bypass surgery, causing her to lose a significant amount of weight years before she got pregnant. After welcoming her first born, she felt like she needed to look a certain way. This has subsequently made her obsessed with reducing weight.
“It was a lot of work,” she told E! before. “It was miserable. I was hungry all the time, but I’m really happy with the results.”
In the recent months, Osbourne has confidently showed her figure to the public. This is a win for the reality star who admitted that she “hid for nine months” to save herself from people’s negative remarks.
She Denies Having Plastic Surgery
After Osbourne’s drastic weight loss, people apparently started speculating that she’s had plastic surgery. People particularly pointed out the significant change in her face shape. Subsequently, the actress took the time to address such rumors.
“I’ve done Botox,” she told Daily Mail. “Now that I’ve lost weight, everybody is criticizing and trying to figure out what it is that I’ve done, and I really just lost some weight.”
Osbourne revealed that she’s lost 85 pounds since giving birth to Sidney. Furthermore, she made sense of this dramatic weight reduce by saying that her past gastric sleeve surgery aided the same.
“I’ve never had any procedure like plastic surgery,” she said.
Having experienced a difficult yet rewarding journey, Osbourne asserted that each person has her own way of reaching their goal. As she puts it, “the road to happiness is different for everybody.”
“I think that instead of picking apart the journey, they should just be happy that you reached your destination,” she said.
