Kelly Clarkson to Host 2023 NFL Honors
“Y’all! I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be hosting the 2023 @nfl Honors!” Clarkson wrote on Instagram, along with an image promoting the event. “I can’t wait to celebrate all of the best players and moments from the NFL season.”
NFL Honors is an annual award show held before the Super Bowl. Categories include the Most Valuable Player Award (won last year by Aaron Rodgers, who has won four times since the awards’ inception in 2012) and the Coach of the Year Award.
Past hosts of the event have included Steve Harvey, Keegan Michael-Key, and Alec Baldwin. For 2023, the 12th annual awards will be held at Symphony Hall in Phoenix, Arizona. It will air Thursday, February 9, at 9 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. CT, on NBC, Peacock, and the NFL Network.
The 2023 Super Bowl will take place on Sunday, February 12, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. It will air on FOX. The Halftime Show will be headlined by Rihanna, marking her first live performance in five years.
Clarkson Is Returning to The Voice Next Year
Next year is already shaping up to be a busy one for Clarkson, as she’s also returning to her coach’s chair on The Voice for Season 23 after taking the most recent season off. She’ll be joined by veteran coach Blake Shelton (for his final season), as well as new coaches Chance the Rapper and Niall Horan.
Clarkson also continues to host her eponymous talk show, which was recently renewed through 2025. Additionally, the singer has teased that she’s been working on a new album inspired by her divorce from ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.
Season 23 of The Voice will premiere Monday, March 6, on NBC.
