Kelly Clarkson Teases First Song from Her New Album ‘Chemistry’

The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson is finally teasing the first new song off her upcoming album Chemistry. The track, titled, “Mine” will be out next week. Clarkson shared a clip of herself performing the song in the recording studio.

“Someone’s gonna show you / How a heart can be used / Like you did mine,” Clarkson sings in a black and white clip from the studio, featuring no background music. She shared the video on Instagram Tuesday.
As the singer wrote in the post’s caption, the song will be out next Friday, April 14. Fans can pre-save the song now ahead of its release. It looks like this will be the first single from Clarkson’s upcoming album, titled Chemistry.
Clarkson has been teasing the new project for quite some time now, and she just recently shared the title. The singer has said that the album covers “the good, the bad, and the ugly” parts of a relationship. This is Clarkson’s first original music since her divorce from ex-husband Brandon Blackstock.
Fans shared their excitement for the release of “Mine” on Instagram, with several people commenting that the sound reminded them of Clarkson’s 2007 album My December.

Clarkson Is Performing in Las Vegas This Summer
Around the same time she announced her upcoming album, Clarkson also shared that she’ll be performing a 10-show residency in Las Vegas this summer. She’ll be taking the stage at Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
The shows will kick off on July 28 and run through August 19, with tickets on sale now. Clarkson’s residency has been described as “an intimate music experience that spans her two-decade long catalog of award-winning hits.” She’ll also be performing songs from Chemistry.
