Katy Perry Shares Another Teaser for New Song ‘Woman’s World’

Former American Idol judge Katy Perry has teased more of her new song “Woman’s World,” set to be released next month. The singer shared a quick video of herself lip-syncing to part of the track on social media.
Katy Perry Teases New Song ‘Woman’s World’
Earlier this month, Perry shared the news that she’s releasing a new single called “Woman’s World” on July 11, with a music video premiering the next day. She teased a short snippet of the song around the time she made the announcement.
Now Perry has teased even more of the track — this time what sounds like the chorus. She posted a video of herself in a T-shirt that reads “FEMININE DIVINE.” Hanging behind her is a shirt featuring Legolas from The Lord of the Rings, famously played by her fiancé Orlando Bloom.
“She’s a mother / Open your eyes, just look around and you’ll discover,” Perry sings on the track. “It’s a woman’s world, and you’re lucky to be living in it.”
Fans will have to wait to hear more. The music abruptly cuts off, and Perry tells viewers, “That’s all you’re gonna get.” She walks out of frame, but a few seconds later she returns to end the video in a funny moment.

Some Fans Changed Their Minds About the Song
When Perry shared the first snippet of “Woman’s World” earlier this month, some fans shared their disappointment with the sound and particularly the lyrics. As Perry sang, “Sexy, confident / So intelligent / She is heaven-sent / So soft, so strong.”
However, some of those fans seemed to have changed their tune after hearing this latest teaser. One fan on TikTok questioned why Perry didn’t share this new snippet first. Another wrote that it’s a “much better snippet.” Yet another commenter excitedly wrote that it’s “sounding better.”
