Jordyn Woods is asking fans for prayers as her NBA star boyfriend Karl-Anthony Towns battles COVID. The former ‘Masked Singer’ star tweeted to her 736,000 followers about his scary diagnosis after the couple just spent the holidays together.

Jordyn Woods Asks Fans To Support Karl-Anthony Towns As He Battles COVID
The Minnesota Timberwolves player posted a statement on social media confirming his diagnosis. He is currently in isolation and following proper safety protocols. He previously lost seven family members to COVID including his mother Jacqueline Towns last year.
“It breaks my heart that my family, and particularly my father and sister continue to suffer from the anxiety that comes along with this diagnosis as we know all too well what the end result could be,” he tweeted. “To my niece and nephew, Jolani and Max, I promise you I will not end up in a box next to grandma and I will beat this.”
“I have a lot of people who have — in my family and my mom’s family — gotten COVID. I’m the one looking for answers still, trying to find how to keep them healthy. It’s just a lot of responsibility on me to keep my family well informed and to make all the moves necessary to keep them alive,” he previously said.
Jordyn showed support for her boyfriend and replied to his tweet. “Praying for you babe. I know you’re going to pull through. God’s got you and so does your most powerful guardian Angel up there. You’re one of the strongest people I know. Please send some prayers up” she wrote. The model, formally known as The Masked Singer kangaroo, later confirmed that she and her family have all tested negative for COVID but urged fans to “continue to pray for a speedy recovery for @KarlTowns.”

The Pair Just Spent The Holidays Together
Jordyn and Karl first made their relationship Instagram official in September. He previously showered her with gifts on Christmas which she showed off on Instagram and called the holiday gifts a “dream.” The model also posted some adorable photos to celebrate Karl’s birthday back in November.
After meeting her prince charming and having tons of modeling deals Jordyn’s career has certainly been looking up. But Karl’s COVID diagnosis is completely devastating after his family has suffered tremendous losses in the past year. We hope he gets well soon and we wish him a speedy recovery.
