American Idol Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks has released a new single called “Stop This Feeling.” The track is giving fans plenty to enjoy now that they can no longer see her on Season 31 of Dancing with the Stars.

Jordin Sparks Releases New Single “Stop This Feeling”

Sparks announced the new song shortly after she and dance partner Brandon Armstrong were eliminated from DWTS. The track was released on Friday, and it’s sure to have fans dancing.

As Sparks wrote on Instagram while announcing the song’s release, “Time to feel and dance again! I hope you enjoy and feel all the love, energy and excitement that’s in this song!”

The song is catchy and fast-paced, as Sparks sings, “Electric when you comе home / It’s like I feel it all in my bones / And I can’t wait to get you alone / Oh, I can’t wait.”

Sparks shared on Instagram that she’s embarking on a “new era,” as she shared behind-the-scenes pictures and video clips from a photo shoot for the new song. The singer’s last full-length, non-Christmas album was 2015’s Right Here Right Now.

Fans Are Loving the Singer’s New Single

The comments on Sparks’ new Instagram post announcing “Stop This Feeling” are full of support from family, friends, and fans alike. That includes her husband, Dana Isaiah, who wrote, “Congrats! Shit is a bop!” Fellow Idol star Melinda Doolittle also commented, writing, “You KILLED it!!!!!”

The rest of the comments feature plenty of fire emojis and hearts, with one commenter writing that the song is on repeat for them. Another user wrote, “The spark is back.” Someone else said, “Got me dancing in the shower.”
