John Legend Shares What He Loves About Wife Chrissy Teigen

John Legend has nothing but love for his wife Chrissy Teigen’s new People magazine cover. The model graces the new Beautiful Issue, posing with the couple’s daughter Luna and son Miles.
John made a video congratulating Chrissy on her cover and sharing what makes her so beautiful to him. Watch The Voice coach — who was previously named People‘s Sexiest Man Alive — wax poetic about his wife in the video below.
John Legend Talks About Chrissy Teigen’s Beauty
“There are a lot of beautiful people on this earth, but in my mind … there’s no one more beautiful than you,” John tells Chrissy in the video. “It’s not just physical beauty, of course.”
“It’s the beauty of your soul,” John continues. “It’s your passion. It’s your sense of humor. It’s your creativity. It’s your zest for life. It’s the joy that you bring to my life and to the lives of our family members.”

“It’s your honesty. It’s your authenticity,” he goes on. “It’s the fact that you live your truth every single day. All of that is what makes you beautiful.”
John recalled the day he met Chrissy — September 13, 2006. According to People, the couple met on the set of John’s music video for “Stereo.” He said he was “fortunate” that they spent time together then, adding that they “fell in love not long after that.”
Chrissy Teigen Opens Up About Hard Times
John said he’s “proud” to parent their children with Chrissy. He added that they’ve “been through so much joy, but also some pain, together.” John told Chrissy, “I wouldn’t want to go through any of this with anybody more than I’d want to go through it with you.”

The singer finished his message by saying, “I love, you Chrissy,” and blowing a kiss to the camera. Chrissy also talked to People about the couple’s experience with pregnancy loss last year.
“There’s been times in the past year that were unimaginable for me, and things that I never thought John would have to see,” she said. “But it’s also been so beautiful and so wonderful that we have prevailed and still see each other with so much more love than we could have ever, ever imagined ever in our lives.”
Chrissy shared that she’s having a tree planted inside her family’s new home so that her son Jack’s ashes can be placed in the soil and he can “grow through the beautiful leaves in this tree and always be a part of us.”
