The Voice coach John Legend is spreading holiday cheer with his latest song “You Deserve It All.” The singer recently shared a festive new music video to go along with the track.
Legend first debuted the song last month to mark his new deal with Republic Records, having left his previous label Columbia. The singer also has a residency lined up in Las Vegas next year.
John Legend Releases ‘You Deserve It All’ Music Video
The new video features Legend walking through a big house full of people who are struggling to get ready for the holidays — spilling ornaments, tangling lights, and dropping desserts. But when Legend walks past them in his stylish velvet jacket, their stress disappears.
“You give of yourself so unselfishly / So I wanna give you all the finest things,” Legend sings on the bouncy new track. “I found a gift that’s perfect / You’re more than worth it / It’s everything that you’ve been dreaming of.”
The video ends with a group dance number, as the people Legend has cheered up throughout the video come together to have fun. Since Legend is a brand ambassador for LG, the video also highlights the house’s electronics.
A fun fact about “You Deserve It All” is that Legend co-wrote the song with Meghan Trainor. They previously teamed up on the song “Like I’m Gonna Lose You.” Trainor recently released a Christmas music video of her own, featuring her son Riley.

Legend Is Headed to Las Vegas Next Year
The new year will see John Legend performing a residency in Las Vegas. The show will be called “Love in Las Vegas,” and will feature songs from throughout Legend’s career. The singer announced the news on Instagram.
The show will be held at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood, which is where fellow The Voice coach Gwen Stefani recently finished up her own residency. Legend’s residency will open April 22, 2022, with dates through October of next year.
“We’re going to celebrate the music, we’re going to celebrate love, celebrate the connection that people feel when they’re at my shows and how we feel with them,” Legend told Billboard about the upcoming show.
Tickets go on sale December 13, but presale signup for early access is open now on Legend’s website.
