Joel McHale Hosts New Show Celebrity Beef
The new show, hosted by McHale, is titled Celebrity Beef. Each episode will feature two feuding celebrities competing in the kitchen to create the best food dish. McHale will also be the judge, tasting the celebrities’ creations to decide who wins a trophy and $10,000 to a charity of their choice.
As Heavy points out, three of the contestants participating in the show have some experience with celebrity talent competitions. They have previously appeared on various seasons of the ABC show Dancing with the Stars.
The DWTS alums are Season 21’s Andy Grammer (who will be competing against his friend Justin Baldoni), Season 24’s Nick Viall (who will be competing against fellow Bachelor Ben Higgins), and Season 25’s Nikki Bella (who will be competing against her twin sister Brie Bella).

The Show Premieres This August
In the official trailer for the new competition, McHale calls it “the most important competition in the history of television.” The host can be seen messing with the contestants and making sarcastic remarks while they try to cook.
Celebrity Beef will premiere on Tuesday, August 2, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on E!, and it will air on the same night as the third season of Celebrity Game Face, hosted by Kevin Hart and his wife Eniko. In fact, at the end of the trailer, while sticking his hand in a container of tomatoes, McHale says, “This is so much better than the Kevin Hart show.”
The show will also feature I Can See Your Voice star Cheryl Hines and former Real Dirty Dancing star Loni Love, who competed on the FOX show against fellow Celebrity Beef contestant Brie Bella.
