Country singer Jimmie Allen recently took to Instagram to issue a public apology to his wife, Alexis Gale. The couple recently announced their split at the same time they shared that Gale is currently pregnant with their third child. Shortly thereafter, Allen was sued for sexual assault by his former manager.
Jimmie Allen Issues Public Apology to His Wife
“I want to publicly apologize to my wife Alexis for humiliating her with my affair,” Allen wrote in his latest Instagram post. “I’m embarrassed that my choices have brought shame on her. That’s something that she did not deserve at all.”
Earlier this month, a woman identified as Jane Doe accused Allen of raping her and sexually abusing her over a period of 18 months while she worked as his day-to-day manager. Allen denied the allegations, claiming he and the woman in question had a consensual relationship.
In his new statement, Allen went on to apologize to his children “for being a poor example of a man and a father.” He added that he’s “working on becoming a better person that my kids can be proud of.”
Allen concluded his apology by writing that the business he’s in is “full of temptations that can cripple you and ruin everything you’ve built.” He added that he “will no longer be a victim of my weaknesses” and encouraged others to “seek help when they need it.”

The Couple Announced Their Split Last Month
In April, Allen and his wife Alexis Gale announced that they had decided to separate. At the same time, they shared the news that they were expecting their third child together. Since then, both Allen and Gale have reportedly filed for divorce.
Meanwhile, Allen was reportedly suspended by his label BBR Music Group after news broke of the sexual assault allegations. He was also dropped from the lineup at the upcoming CMA Fest, and suspended by his booking agency and management company.
Allen and Gale tied the knot in 2021. They share two children together — daughters Naomi and Zara. Allen also has a son named Aadyn from a previous relationship.
