Jennifer Lopez walks the 'Halftime' red carpet

Jennifer Lopez has shared the trailer for her upcoming Amazon film, titled This Is Me…Now. It will accompany the release of her album of the same name on February 16. The project is a follow-up to Lopez’s album This Is Me… Then.

Jennifer Lopez Shares Trailer for Film This Is Me… Now

“I have not been this nervous, excited, scared and thrilled to share something with you in years!!” Lopez captioned the new trailer on Instagram, calling the project “the most personal thing I’ve ever done.”

The trailer for This Is Me… Now: A Love Story teases some seriously epic scenes and dramatic moments. That includes a motorcycle crash, several elaborate dance numbers, and some apocalyptic-looking locales. It looks like the movie’s shifting tone will reflect the songs on the album.

The movie will feature appearances from famous faces such as Derek Hough, Sofia Vergara, Keke Palmer, Post Malone, and Lopez’s husband Ben Affleck. According to Billboard, the film (directed by Dave Meyers) is a “genre-bending” project in which Lopez depicts “her journey to love through her own eyes.”

The Album Is a Follow-Up to Her 2002 Release

This Is Me… Now is a follow-up to Lopez’s 2002 album This Is Me… Then. Her relationship with her now-husband Ben Affleck was apparently the inspiration for that album. The pair was previously engaged but broke it off in 2004.

Lopez has already released the new album’s lead single, called “Can’t Get Enough,” earlier this month. She also shared a music video to go along with the track. It depicts Lopez getting married and joyously dancing during the ceremony and reception — including a routine with Derek Hough.
