Justin Auditions For ‘The Voice Kids’
Before his audition, Justin shared that his mother signed him up to try out for The Voice Kids. “Sometimes I’ll hear him singing in his room,” his mother revealed. “He’s too afraid to let others hear him.”

Justin said he keeps his singing secret, because he finds it “embarrassing.” He said he chose to sing “Lovely” because he believed it was about embarrassment, and said he could relate to it.
Justin impressed the coaches. Each time a chair turned around, he smiled and looked surprised. All of the coaches turned around for him by the end. And they even gave him a standing ovation!
The Coaches Were Fighting Over Justin
All the coaches wanted Justin to join their team, and they tried various methods of convincing him. Gers Pardoel reminded Justin that his team won the last season. Then, as all the coaches stood up to challenge him, Gers balanced on the back of his chair.

Laura Tesoro, meanwhile, ran on stage to put her arm around Justin. Eventually, coach Sean Dhondt suggested that they should all turn their chairs back around, and Justin could walk to the chair of the coach he wanted.
Justin ended up choosing Laura Tesoro’s team. He made to The Voice Kids finals, singing songs like “How Do You Sleep?” by Sam Smith and “Bellyache” by Billie Eilish along the way. He didn’t end up winning, but he definitely made an impression.
Earlier this year, Justin (who is now 14) started posting covers on his YouTube channel. So far, he’s performed “No Time to Die” by Billie Eilish and “Heather” by Conan Gray.
