Howie Mandel, Alexandra Côté Team Up For ASISTA Foundation Conference

Alexandra Cote America's Got Talent

On Sept 6, the Canadian foundation, The ASISTA Foundation announced their line up for a fundraiser. Howie Mandel will be the keynote speaker, but he’s not the only America’s Got Talent face that will be there. Alexandra Côté and her border collies are the scheduled half time performance.

This event is ASISTA’s first Hybrid Charity Conference. This event is named The Power To Change and it is presented by Nutrience. It will take place on October 27 online and in person. Tickets range from C$54 to C$531 and some of the pricier tickets feature seats in the in-studio audience.

The event is explained as “the LIVE masterclass of life,” featuring Mandel and other speakers. This masterclass is a motivational talk based on struggles with anxiety. The point of this conference is to uplift all of the people who attend the event.

The ASISTA Foundation strives to provide service dogs for adults and children to help them cope with mental health conditions. They’re a non-profit organization that rescues dogs, then trains them as service dogs. Not only are they giving an adult or child a better life, they’re also providing a better life for the dogs that they’re rescuing.

With a motive like theirs, it’s no surprise that their Instagram page is full of positive quotes and adorable dogs. This is definitely the place to go to if you are having a rough day.

Other speakers for this event are Fedex Canada president, Lisa Lisson, master of ceremony Sébastien Kfoury and a surprise guest.

The Dog Trainer Who Didn’t Make It Past America’s Got Talent Judge Deliberations Continues To Be Successful

For someone who didn’t make it past auditions on America’s Got Talent, Côté sure is racking up a bunch of performances right now. Since AGT she has performed along side canine stars and gained a bunch of followers on social media.

Her TikTok now has 81,900 followers. Her videos have any where from 14,000 to 400,000 views. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, people love seeing cute dogs doing cool tricks! Côté was robbed by not getting a place in the live shows this season, so it’s nice to see that her career is still very alive. Even with this new found fame, she still fits the name of: the canadian dog trainer with a dream. I cannot wait to see what else her, Louka and Tesla have planned.
