Heidi Klum Posts Victoria’s Secret Throwback Video
“Rehearsing in my apartment the night before my first VS show,” Heidi wrote to caption the clip, in which she struts toward the camera wearing lingerie.
Heidi does a few turns to show off the underwear, and even pulls a robe off at one point, letting it fall off her shoulders. She struts away holding it at her side.
According to the Daily Mail, the song “If That’s Your Boyfriend (He Wasn’t Last Night)” by Meshell Ndegeocello is playing in the background while Heidi rehearses.
Heidi’s first fashion show with Victoria’s Secret was reportedly in 1997. She became an Angel in 1999, and received the nickname “The Body.” Heidi added the hashtags #FunTimes and #BabyHeidi to her recent post.
Heidi’s Lingerie Modeling Tips
In 2008, Heidi told Redbook magazine that she went to a drag store before her first Victoria’s Secret fashion show. “I bought their highest heels to train in,” she explained.
She also shared the secret to walking in the show. “You can’t take it too seriously,” Heidi said. “And you’d better know how to walk in the gigantic wings.”
Heidi has since passed the modeling torch to her 16-year-old daughter Leni, who made her debut on the cover of German Vogue with her mom. Leni has had modeling offers for years, but Heidi wanted her to wait until she was older.
Heidi left Victoria’s Secret in 2010. She currently hosts Germany’s Next Top Model.
