Harry Styles continues on his parade of success recently by achieving a rare feat. He has officially earned both number one song and movie simultaneously with the release of Don’t Worry Darling. This definitely secures his place as a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry.
Styles Simultaneously Holds Top Song and Top Movie
The former One Direction star has been on a success parade for the past year. Some of his recent achievements include releasing his third solo album Harry’s House, earning a banner at Madison Square Garden, and his expansion into the big screen. He gained the most recent feats at the same time with a hit song and his largest acting role to date.
After a record-breaking 15 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, “As It Was,” is proving to be one of the best he has put out. The song sitting at number one in the chart makes Styles the only solo artist to spend at least 15 weeks on top.
Meanwhile, the psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling (starring Styles and Florence Pugh) debuted at No. 1 in the North American box office. Don’t Worry Darling almost earned their entire $35 million budget from it’s initial launch. On the launch date, the film made $19.2 million in North America, as well as $10.8 million internationally.
Don’t Worry Darling director Olivia Wilde has praised Style’s true talent as an actor. She’s stated that Styles was very immersed in his acting that the final result surprised everyone. For those who don’t know, reports state that Wilde is Style’s girlfriend.
Styles to Announce New Tour Dates
The Love On Tour continues to expand with the announced concert dates for 2023 largely taking place in Europe, Brazil, and the U.S. The tour’s shows span the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, and Spain.
Styles is now at the Moody Center in Austin, where he started a six-night residency last Sunday. He will later head to Chicago for another six nights at United Center. Afterward, he’ll be busy doing a 15-night showing at Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
Styles is set to announce concert dates in Asia for his Love On Tour soon, and tickets for the shows are available now online. Ticket prices start at around $125 and averages at $301.
