Gwen Stefani Gushes About Blake Shelton
Gwen and Blake’s romance started when they were both going through divorces from their ex-spouses, Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert. “I feel as if I spent the last four years healing—you know, trying to build my life again,” Gwen told Shape. “Having a best friend like Blake to help me do that has been one of the greatest gifts.”
One way Blake apparently supports Gwen is by watching her three sons when she’s busy with work. She also calls him a “feeder,” saying he’ll bring her candy.
Blake Is Great With Gwen’s Kids
Gwen also tells Shape about how important it is to set aside family time in addition to work. Blake is included in that. “Balance is the hardest thing, but it’s also the most important—being with my family, having time with Blake where we just watch movies,” she said.
Earlier this year, Gwen and her three sons appeared with Blake on the red carpet for the premiere of his movie UglyDolls. Gwen recently said that Blake is a “good dad” to Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo, adding, “He’s been helping me out a lot, so I literally get to the point where I’m like, ‘You gotta get home, I need help.’ It’s hard. I got three boys.”
Gwen won’t be returning to The Voice next season, with Nick Jonas replacing her, so we’ll have to enjoy the Shefani shenanigans while we still can.
