Pregnancy Rumors Persist for Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton

When it comes to rumors that Gwen Stefani could be pregnant, age is apparently just a number. Speculation that the 55-year-old is expecting a baby with husband Blake Shelton has persisted throughout the couple’s relationship.

Earlier this month, The Hollywood Gossip published an article speculating about the possibility that Stefani and Shelton are expecting a “miracle” baby. That article ultimately acknowledges that there is no evidence the couple is expecting — as does a recent article from Entertainment Now.
Stefani shares three sons with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. Although Shelton doesn’t have any children of his own, he serves as a stepdad to Stefani’s kids. However, before the couple even tied the knot in 2021, there were reports that they were “hyper-focused on getting pregnant.”
Then in 2022, fans on Instagram started speculating that Stefani could be hiding a baby bump under her outfits, and Life & Style even claimed that the singer was pregnant after undergoing IVF. Then last year, the same outlet reported that Stefani and Shelton have been struggling to find a surrogate.
The pregnancy rumors have been so persistent throughout the couple’s decade-long relationship that Stefani played an April Fools’ Day joke on her fans in 2016 by posting a sonogram and writing, “It’s a girl.”

Shelton Loves Being a Stepdad to Stefani’s Kids
Last year, Shelton told Entertainment Tonight that Stefani’s sons Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo have changed him “in every possible way,” adding, “When people say it’s not about you anymore when you have a kid… I think, if you’re doing it right, it’s not about you anymore. That’s true.”
Shelton shared his excitement about getting to “teach them the country,” explaining, “Whether it’s music, whether it’s literally getting out, getting their hands in the dirt or being out on the ranch, seeing the animals, whatever, you know? I absolutely love being the person that gets to introduce them to that stuff.”
“I take it very serious, but I also have a blast with it,” Shelton said of being a stepdad in a previous interview. “I don’t take it so serious that I’m not enjoying this time because I really am … I can’t imagine my life without these kids now.”
