‘Go-Big Show’ Contestant Makes Judges Cringe By Doing THIS With Nails

The Go-Big Show on TBS returned on Thursday night for its fifth episode. The talent show features extreme talents not frequently seen on other competition shows.
This week’s episode featured a bullfighter, a yo-yo artist, and a woman who lay down on a bed of nails. Check out the night’s performances below, and read on to find out who made it through to the semifinals.

Krystal Kurio vs. Justin Josey
The first matchup of the night was between a sideshow performer and a bullfighter. Justin started things off by dodging a bull in the ring. At one point he jumped up and let the bull run under him. Cody Rhodes called it an “act of survival,” and said it was “difficult” to judge it.

Then Krystal took the stage to push a nail into her nostril with a hammer. She then lay down on a bed of nails and had Cody stand on top of her. She even showed off the nail marks! Rosario Dawson said “the presentation was incredible.” The judges gave Krystal a score of 85, and Justin a score of 83, meaning Krystal moved on.
James Jean vs. Justin Weber
The next matchup of the night was between a “redneck archer” and a yo-yo artist. First, James showed off his ability to curve arrows, including shooting it behind his head. Jennifer Nettles said she was “super impressed.”

Next, Justin showed off some flashy yo-yo tricks against a neon background. He even did a split while he performed some of the moves. Jennifer said she loved the graphics, which Justin created himself. The judges gave Justin a score of 83, and James a score of 88, meaning James moved on.
Chris Cheng vs. Shannon & Sawyer
The night’s last matchup was between a professional marksman vs. twins who ride motorcycles. Chris started things off by shooting apples off cardboard cutouts’ heads, and then he actually played music with his gun! Cody said there were “highs and lows” in the act.

Then Shannon and Sawyer did some tricks on motorcycles, including one they called the “twin-nado.” They even rode the bikes around the judges. Jennifer said they have potential, but Snoop Dogg said it “didn’t do it for me.” The judges gave Chris a score of 66, and the twins a score of 65, meaning Chris moved on. The twins walked off in a huff, calling the judges’ criticism “ridiculous.”
The contestants who moved on in tonight’s episode will return for the semifinals. Go-Big Show will be back at the same time next week for even more intense performances.
