First Time EVER Ellen DeGeneres Wishes She Had Kids Amid Self-Quarantine
Even celebrities are finding it hard to be stuck at home while nearly everything has been shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak. Ellen DeGeneres has been posting videos of herself on Instagram calling celebrities while she sits at home. DeGeneres lives in California where nearly 9 million people have been urged to stay home as much as possible as the number of coronavirus cases in the state continues to rise.
Ellen DeGeneres Told Friends John Legend And Chrissy Teigen That She Is “Bored”
In one clip, Degeneres calls famous friends John Legend and Chrissy Teigen who tell her that they’re just at home hanging out with the kids. Their son Miles says “hi.” Ellen then goes on to say that she is bored and that she wishes she had kids. “Say hi to Portia,” Legend and Teigen say as they hang up the phone. DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi have been married since 2008 but do not have any kids.
She also calls Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel who do not seem too excited to be sitting at home either. The two say they are doing “nothing.” Justin jokingly says “call me in an hour.”
Ellen DeGeneres Is Trying To Keep Fans Entertained On Social Media
DeGeneres posted another video on Twitter of her calling Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine to wish him a happy birthday. While Levine is spending his birthday in self-quarantine with his family he sounded relatively happy.
She also took on a 4,000 piece puzzle on Instagram and documented her progress. She declares that she doesn’t have a table big enough to complete the puzzle and decides to move on to something else. One comment read “this is my favorite series right now.” DeGeneres is certainly entertaining her fans as best as she can while confined to her home and trying to make people laugh during times when they need it the most.
Celebrities Started Doing At Home Concerts For Fans
DeGeneres isn’t the only celebrity trying to make fans smile or entertained during this difficult time. Legend and Teigen took to Instagram Live to give fans a concert since pretty much everyone is confined to their homes while they are social distancing or self-quarantining.
Legend sang for an hour as Teigen accompanied him and drank wine. Legend said the performance is “to help lift your spirits.”
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin also took to Instagram Live a few times to give his fans at-home concerts. The comments on the Live session were all extremely positive.
With no telling how long this pandemic will continue to sweep the globe, celebrity entertainment on social media is gladly appreciated.
