Fans Think Kelly Clarkson’s Cover Of ‘I’m Movin On’ Is Her Sharing Her Divorce Story

Kelly Clarkson has been putting out some covers lately for the Kellyoke segment of The Kelly Clarkson Show that pull at the heartstrings. But is there a hidden meaning behind the songs she is choosing? Her fans think so, as two of her most recent videos recieved tons of comments about Kelly sharing her story.
Kelly Clarkson Fans Think Songs Are Directed Towards Brandon Blackstock
Kelly posted a cover of the Rascal Flatts song “I’m Movin’ On.” The title in itself had people talking because they think she is ready to do just that, move on. “This woman is sharing her heart through these Kellyoke’s lately. what a strong, beautiful soul” commented one fan. Back on June 4, Kelly filed for divorce on June 4 from Brandon Blackstock after seven years of marriage. The pair had a gorgeous wedding in 2013 and share two children together River Rose, 5, and Remington Alexander, 4. It was a celebrity split that nobody saw coming. The comments on YouTube all pointed towards Kelly telling a story through music. “She is telling her story right now. If you’ve listened to the new Kellyoke’s this week, she is picking up the pieces and literally Moving On!” said another fan.

Another fan said “If u notice she started the week singing Sam Smith’s ‘How Do You Sleep,’ then Patty Loveless ‘Blame It on My Heart,’ then Ashe’s ‘Moral of The Story,’ and leading up to Rascal Flatts ‘I’m Movin On’… She’s telling us her story.. I think she will be fine but u can tell right now she is having a hard time. This may be the best way for her to talk (ie; sing) it out.” And another said “Kelly Clarkson is telling a story even with the choice of covers she is doing. She is a legend.” Kelly has also recently opened up about battling depression along with her divorce. “This song already had a personal meaning for me. Hearing Kelly perform it in the midst of divorce made my heartbreak for her even more. We love you, Kelly, and we are here for you” said another.
Another Kellyoke Cover Caught Her Fans Attention
The ‘Voice’ coach also performed the song “Moral Of The Story” by Ashe. “Why make a public statement when you can just sing about it,” asked one comment. The song is about falling in love with the wrong person and making mistakes that you realize towards the end of your relationship. The comments on this video also pointed towards Kelly’s divorce as the driving force behind singing this song. “The way she turned away from the camera… I think she thought about her own mariage. I am really sad they could not make it work. It breaks my heart to see such good people get heartbroken” said another YouTube comment.
“I just want to give her a huge hug she is telling the story of her divorce through these songs that’s for sure, stay strong,” said another. “Wow! This lady just gets better and better.
