The Cotton Candy was definitely the standout performer during the Group B premiere of The Masked Dancer. She danced an aerial and lyrical routine to “Glitter In The Air” by P!nk. Fans think they know exactly who is under the mask based on the clues, and it may even be a former ‘AGT’ judge.

The Cotton Candy Put On A Stunning Performance On ‘The Masked Dancer’
In the clue package, The Cotton Candy called herself a “perfectionist.” Another clue was a big plate of English breakfast. She said that growing up she was a whiz kid but in order to chase her dreams, she had to move in with a new family. The next clue was a clock with the word “life” written on it. A plate of cupcakes with lips and false eyelashes was the last clue. She had a scary fall during rehearsals but got back up like a true champion.
At first, she was demonstrating serious flexibility during the performance suspended on a hoop up in the air. She did some partner work afterward which made it clear she is a professional dancer or gymnast. The Cotton Candy’s one-word clue is “primetime.” The judges felt like this meant she was on television before.
The Clues Hint That This Talent Competition Judge Is Under The Mask
Paula Abdul guessed that it was actress Jenna Dewan under the mask. Brian Austin Green guessed it was singer P!nk. Ken Jeong thinks it is former ‘AGT’ judge Julianne Hough. Ashley agreed with this guess and it seems like a lot of fans think the same. Viewers flooded all social media platforms to dissect the clues and point out all of the reasons why they think Julianne is The Cotton Candy.
“It’s Julianne Hough, for sure!” one person wrote on YouTube. They continued on to point out that the English style breakfast represents when Julianne and her brother Derek Hough moved to London after their parents divorced. They lived with the Ballas family for 10 years. The wizard hat in the clue package is a reference to Julianne being an extra in the Harry Potter movies. And the one-word clue “primetime” could be a reference to her time on Dancing With The Stars as a judge and a pro dancer.
“So sure this is Julianne Hough” another person commented on YouTube. “She had a rough time growing up at her dance school in London hence the rough start and British breakfast, was in Harry Potter when she was younger, hence the sorting hat and the ‘Safe Haven’ line was clearly in reference to the movie she was in called Safe Haven.
Other popular guesses for The Cotton Candy are Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles and music superstar P!nk.
