HunterGirl Teases More of Song “Hometown Out of Me”
Last month, HunterGirl shared on Instagram that she had just written a new song dedicated to her hometown of Winchester, Tennessee. She said she wrote the track, called “Hometown Out of Me,” with Jimmy Robbins and Laura Veltz.
HunterGirl sat in her car and played the song’s chorus. Then, over the weekend, she shared another car video, this time playing the song’s first verse, along with the chorus again. As she wrote in the caption, “This one’s for my hometown. Thank you guys for always supporting my dreams. Love y’all so much!”
“Mama kinda had a feeling / Thank God she always got me,” HunterGirl sings on the track. “A county line and a ceiling / Wasn’t ever gonna stop me / Wings are made for open air / And there’s a great big world out there / There ain’t a map dot I don’t wanna see / But this one is a part of me.”
