Some Today fans are worried about Carson Daly, who has reportedly been missing from the show since August 11. Jacob Soboroff has recently been filling in for Daly, but the show has apparently failed to explain the co-host’s absence.

Fans Wonder Where Host Carson Daly Is on Today

According to The Sun, fans on social media have noticed Daly’s absence on the morning show and expressed their concern for the co-host. One viewer reportedly wrote, “They introduced a new Entertainment correspondent today with no explanation as to what happened. Hoping he is ok.”

Initially, Sheinelle Jones took over for Daly on the show. When Jones was absent on August 18, Dylan Dryer took over. Jacob Soboroff and Joe Fryer filled in the next Monday, with Soboroff appearing for the rest of the week.

According to Soboroff’s Instagram, he’ll be filling in until Labor Day. Meanwhile, Daly has not spoken publicly about the reason for his absence. In fact, it appears that the star hasn’t posted on Instagram since August 3.

Daly isn’t the only Today co-host who has been absent recently. Last week, Hoda Kotb shared that Savannah Guthrie was on vacation. Kotb herself has been absent since last Friday, with no reason given by the show.

Daly Also Hosts The Voice on NBC

Today isn’t Daly’s only hosting gig on NBC. He’s also been hosting The Voice since its very first season, and will be returning for Season 24 in the fall. In July, Daly teased on Instagram that the show was back to filming.

Season 24 will feature new coach Reba McEntire, as well as returning coaches Niall Horan, John Legend, and Gwen Stefani. This will be Stefani’s first time coaching without husband Blake Shelton, who left the show after last season.

The coaches for Season 25 of The Voice have also been announced, as McEntire and Legend will return alongside Chance the Rapper and the show’s first coaching duo, Dan + Shay. This season is expected to air in the spring.
